COLAB 01

COLAB is a collaboration project that invites designers to create functional objects based on a given set of rules. The first edition COLAB 01 works with polygons, straight lines and angles. This way the designers are free to do what they are most attracted to and they choose a production method, while the resulting collection of objects stays naturally united in its aesthetics.

COLAB concentrates on the design process by confronting a closed group of professionals, encouraging hard criticism, mutual education and a strictly open process.

COLAB’s key audience are producers and design brands. We exhibit well developed realistic products with an exposed process to inspire and invite producers and design brands to co-operate. Our goal is to find like-minded partners and bring products into production.

COLAB 01 showcase the works of Matej Chabera, Martin Žampach and Elwin&Nynke van der Hoek.

COLAB01 has been on show at DMY Berlin early June and next stop will be dizajvikend Bratislava, then show will move to Budapest for Budapest Design Week 2012.
